The ETG has grown out of the former Oil & Gas Division recognising the expansion of oil and gas activities into new technologies such as carbon capture and storage, offshore wind farms, tidal power generation and additional technologies related to the need to decarbonise the world to significantly reduce the impact of climate change whilst meeting societal energy needs.
