Plastics Design & Moulding 2005

The Institute is supporting the new Plastics Design & Moulding 2005 (PDM 05) event for the plastics design and moulding industry. The conference and exhibition is being held at Telford International Centre on 12≠14 April 2005, and is set to be the perfect platform for materials manufacturers, moulders and designers to come together and develop new ideas, technologies and partnerships for the future.

"The Institute's involvement in PDM 05 highlights the importance of the plastics sector in our activities, and enables the Institute to support the needs of its members and their professional development. It is an ideal opportunity for IOM3 to reach individuals working in the plastics industry and demonstrate how they can benefit from Institute membership through recognised professional qualifications, and its specialised materials information and advice services for business and industry", says Andrew Cluley, Polymer Co-ordinator for IOM3. "We are delighted to support PDM 05 and are confident that this will prove a long and mutually successful association".

PDM 05 is a comprehensive industry event featuring three halls of value-for-money exhibition space and a full three-day conference programme designed to attract a high-level audience from across the design and moulding sectors. PDM 05 will also offer a range of innovative visitor attractions, including a dedicated Design Resource Centre, breakfast briefings and networking opportunities. Supported by PRW Plastics & Rubber Weekly and European Plastics News, PDM 05 has been developed with the input and backing of the founding partner companies: Albis, Battenfeld, Clariant, Distrupol, DuPont, Gabriel-Chemie, Motan, Netstal, Plastribution and Summit Systems.
