The Examination in Mining Law relating to health and safety 2003

The Examination of the Mining Qualifications Board (MQB) to be held during 2003 is detailed below:

Candidates intending to take this MQB Examination are requested to apply as early as possible. Application forms and details of the Examination are available from The Deputy Chief Executive, The Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining, Danum House, South Parade, Doncaster, DN1 2DY. Completed application forms must be returned accompanied by the appropriate fee before the closing date indicated.

The Examination will be held on Wednesday 11 June 2003.

The closing date for applications for this Examination is Friday 16 May 2003. The fee payable for the Examination is 100.00.

Candidates are reminded that it remains necessary for them to complete the practical experience required for a Mining Qualifications Board Statutory Certificate not later than nine months after taking the Examination.

Copies of past examination papers, along with specimen answers, are available. Requests, stating dates required, should be sent to The Secretary, Mining Qualifications Board, Health and Safety Executive, Rose Court, 2 Southwark Bridge, London, SE1 9HS, Tel: 020 7717 6301.
