Mining Law Examination 2006
THE EXAMINATION IN MINING LAW RELATING TO HEALTH AND SAFETY 2006
The Examination of the Mining Qualifications Board (MQB) in Mining Law
relating to Health and Safety will be held on Wednesday 14 June 2006. The
closing date for applications for this Examination is Friday 5 May 2006.
The fee payable for the Examination is £100.00.
Candidates intending to take this MQB Examination are requested to apply as
early as possible. Application forms and details of the Examination are
available from The Deputy Chief Executive, The Institute of Materials,
Minerals and Mining, Doncaster Regional Office, Danum House, South Parade,
Doncaster DN1 2DY. Completed application forms must be returned accompanied
by the appropriate fee before the closing date indicated.
Candidates are reminded that it remains necessary for them to complete the
practical experience required for a Mining Qualifications Board Statutory
Certificate not later than nine months after taking the Examination.
Copies of past examination papers, along with specimen answers, are
available at www.hse.gov.uk/mining/qual.htm. Requests, stating dates required, should be sent to The
