Professor Sir David King to open Materials Congress 2004

Materials Congress 2004, taking place in London on 30 March to 1 April, will be opened on Tuesday 30 March by Professor Sir David King KB ScD FRS, Chief Scientific Adviser to HM Government and Head of the Office of Science and Technology.

The official opening will take place at 2.00pm at 6 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1, and will be followed by the Presidential Address by Jeff Smith, entitled “The importance of minerals to the materials cycle and our everyday lives”.
