ETB Panel Elections

Elections are currently being held by the ETB to select new representatives to sit on the etb Registrants Panel. This is the registrantsí representative body (for all CEng, IEng and EngTech registrants) and provides four members for the etb Board. All registered engineers are entitled to vote.

The Panel consists of 24 registered engineers from business and industry, academia, government and engineering institutions. 12 members are elected by the engineering institutions and 12 are elected by the registrants themselves. Four of these latter members are standing down in 2005, hence the election of new representatives.

The etb web site provides details of the process along with timings and information regarding nominations and candidates. The voting facility for all current registrants will be hosted on the site for those who wish to participate in the election of new Panel members.

The Panel functions as the voice of registrants and the etb hopes Institute members will get actively involved in the election process.
