Calcium Aluminate Cements 2008

This will be the third of a series of meetings devoted to this extensively used special cement and will celebrate the Centenary of its invention by Jules Bied in 1908. The meeting will deal with various aspects of this topic covering recent developments, emerging technologies and environmental impact and will be of equal interest to all those who work with these cements, including formulators, manufacturers and researchers.

The Palais des Papes is a splendid venue for such an event having such a rich history and incorporating a state-of-the-arts Conference Centre. The area is also important from the point of view of the history of Calcium Aluminates Cements with its invention in 1908 by Jules Bied in the nearby town of Le Teil.
